Andy Cohen seems to have been as taken aback as the rest of us when Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann called it quits on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Andy Cohen, the presenter of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” and “Andy Cohen Live” on SiriusXM, said he was “very surprised” to hear the news of their breakup.
Cohen remarked:
“That was not the news I ever anticipated to get. They appeared to be inseparable and deeply in love. They were a pair that, yes, I believed was committed to the relationship for the long term.”
According to documents obtained from the court system, Biermann has filed for custody of the four children currently living with Zolciak. These include 2013 twins Kaia and Kane, 2011 son Kroy, and 2012 son Kash.
Biermann adopted Zolciak’s grown children from a previous relationship, Brielle and Ariana. The wedding took place in 2011.

Before her family gained notoriety in the “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” spinoff, Cohen disclosed on television that he had been in contact with Zolciak, a founding member of the Atlanta “Housewives” ensemble.
Cohen stated:
“I emailed Kim briefly yesterday and conveyed my condolences because it’s a horrible situation. They have kids, and that was just a couple that seemed to be very much in love.”
