Astro Moon Bin De@th: The Popular Korean Pop Band Astro has D!ed

On Thursday (April 20), Moon Bin, a K-pop phenomenon and member of the boy band Astro, p@ssed tragically at 25. According to an Instagram post by Fantagio, Moon Bin “suddenly left us and became a star in the sky.”

At 8:10 p.m., the star’s manager found him de@d at his home in southern Seoul. On Wednesday night (April 19), the Yonhap news agency cited the police as a source.

“All Astro members, Fantagio colleagues, executives and employees who’ve been together for a long time are deeply mourning the deceased in such great sadness and shock,” the music label said, adding that the sorrow of the star’s bereaved family was “incomparable.”

The record company said breaking the news to the late musician’s devoted followers was challenging since he “always loved and thought of the fans more than anyone else.” There was also a call for people to “refrain from speculative and malicious reports” out of respect for the bereaved family.

Moon Bin debuted with Astro in 2016. Yoon San-ha, MJ, Cha Eun-woo, and Jinjin round up the group. In addition, Moon Bin recently toured Asia with his band, Moon Bin & Sanha.

As part of Jakarta’s promotion of hosting the 2030 World Expo, the duo was set to perform there on May 13 and again in Busan the following month.
