‘Beastars’ season 2 has finished broadcasting in Japan and reached Netflix in July 2021, but many who already watched the harrowing ending of season 2 are now questioning if season 3 will happen. The second season of the anime has given stunning revelations and we can’t wait to see what happens next for Legoshi after an epic confrontation with Tem’s killer. ‘Beastars’ is based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki.
The anime takes place in a universe where anthropomorphic animals have a cultural division between carnivores and herbivores. The peace and tranquility between the two groups were disturbed as Tem the alpaca is cruelly slain and devoured by an unknown killer in the night.

Beastars Season 3 Plot
We can guess the plot of the third season based on where season 2 finished, then compare it with the manga’s story arc. Tem’s killer ultimately is revealed in season 2. Riz, the bear, was the covert murderer that devoured the alpaca in the night. Legos come face to face with Riz in grueling combat, which ends up in Louis sacrificing his limb so Legoshi may eat meat for the first time. This empowered Legoshi with increased strength and enabled him to vanquish Riz.
That showdown will act as a significant occasion for Legoshi’s life in the next seasons. The battle ends up with both Legoshi and Riz getting arrested by the authorities. Although Legoshi will not acquire a misdemeanor criminal record, he is labeled as a predatorial offender for ingesting Louis’s flesh. Eating the flesh of another living animal is a severely banned act in the civilized, anthropomorphic world. Because of his negative record, Legos will have a hard time getting back into his usual life.
He is no longer able to go to unsegregated universities, and no herbivore-owned companies will want to hire him. The worst of it all, he will no longer be allowed to marry a herbivore and would be forced to leave Haru without explanation.
