Dallas Rap Artist BFG Straap Killed In Shooting, Police Say
Police say two persons were shot and killed in South Dallas on Thursday; one of them was local rapper BFG Straap.
Cory Medina Lucien, 26, was found shot numerous times in the 2800 block of Casey Street, close to South Malcolm X Boulevard, at around 3:30 p.m. On-the-spot medical examiners ruled his death official.

BFG Straap, a native of east Dallas, has nearly 10,000 YouTube subscribers and over 17,400 monthly Spotify listeners. The artist’s debut album, 2019’s “STRAAP A MANIAC,” and most recent album, 2019’s “11:11,” were both released less than a month ago.
