Former political staffer and current American public servant Ashley Estes Kavanaugh. She has been married to Brett Kavanaugh, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, since 2004. Kavanaugh’s birthplace was Abilene, Texas.
She attended and participated in the sport of golf for four years while she was a student at Abilene Cooper High School, from which she graduated in 1993 after serving as a member of the Student Council for the same amount of time. She started classes at UT Austin in 1993 and earned a BA in journalism there four years later.

Brett Kavanaugh has been very effusive in his appreciation of his fellow Supreme Court justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson, who joined the court last fall. Kavanaugh spoke highly of his colleague’s preparedness on Monday at a Notre Dame Law School event, saying, “She is well prepared – thoroughly prepared.”

Although she has only been on the Supreme Court for a little over four months, Jackson, who sits next to Kavanaugh, has already garnered significant attention in the legal community.
It has been noted by onlookers that Jackson has been rapidly and pleasantly settling into her new job as a judge, participating actively in oral arguments and engaging in extended exchanges with lawyers. Jackson has also received praise from progressives who believe she has helped to shake up the court’s conservative majority, which now sits at 6-3.

Brett Kavanaugh Is Optimistic About The Supreme Court
Even though the Supreme Court has a reputation for being deeply divided, Justice Brett Kavanaugh says he is optimistic about its future. The news driver: “I’m hopeful about the court, I’m optimistic about the country, I’m optimistic about my colleagues,” he remarked this week at an event at Notre Dame Law school.
“I am an optimist … I see the day that is coming. Not the day that has gone. I am optimistic about the future of America. I am optimistic about the future of our independent judiciary.”
