Can we expect the Kominsky method season 4?
The American comedy-drama series, The Kominsky method, had entranced viewers and critics with its intrinsic portrayal of life, subtly reminding us of how transient our lives are. The series gripping plot entraps the user into a perfectly woven web that offers entertaining drama around everything that you can think of making the series an irresistible watch.
Kominsky Method: A huge success
Don’t believe me? Well, the Kominsky method is a Golden Globe award-winning series with an impressive IMDB rating of 8.2. It isn’t surprising because it’s written by Chuck Lorre, the man behind America’s well-known Comedy series, The Big bang theory, which has a whopping 12 seasons but the amazing character development and some great humor make big bang theory an unforgettable comedy series.
The Cast and Plot of the Kominsky method:
The comedy-drama series, The Kominsky Method, premiered in 2018 but apart from the well-written plot the remarkable performances by Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas are what made it such an impressive watch as they took the show’s comedy and emotion to a whole other level.
The cast also includes stellar performances by Lisa Edelstein, Graham Rogers, Haley Joel Osment, and Emily Osment. The sery’s main character played by Michael Douglas, is Sandy Kominsky, an actor who finds herself struggling with her short-lived fame but later decides to become a well-known Hollywood coach.
Can we expect the Kominsky method season 4?
The series has a huge fanbase and rightfully so. The fans are eager to see their screens lit up once again with the Kominsky Method season 4 but unfortunately, the producers have announced that season 3 will be a wrap-up of this beautiful journey.
Lorre was super thankful for the abundant support and felt the series was not another show but reflected true passion. When the series was renewed for a season 3 Lorre made it clear that he will be closing the narrative and so all the suspicions around season 4 have come to a dead-end sadly.
Why was the show canceled?
If you’re wondering why a show doing so well would be canceled and also because it’s surprisingly unlikely of Lorre since his previous infamous series the Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half men had 12 seasons so why did he leave The Kominsky method on just 3 seasons.
Well, we can’t say the show was canceled because the decision to terminate the show and not release the Kominsky method season 4 wasn’t sudden but Netflix and Lorre had reached an agreement on how the story would be finalized. Lorre felt the narrative was put up in the best way possible and that season 3 with only six episodes would be perfect to satisfy the viewers and do justice to Sandy’s character. He cleared how this collaboration was out of his comfort zone and how he approached it very cautiously like writing a book and letting every season unfold like its own chapter.
The silver lining amongst the disappointment:
If you’ve started watching the Kominsky Method, don’t forget to savor the last season as much as you can because unfortunately, the series will not be returning for the Kominsky method season four. Fans are disappointed to bid their favorite series goodbye but are happy with whatever seasons they got to watch. Mostly series are stretched for way too long without any substantial character development and plot, greeting the viewers with declining quality every season so I guess it is wise to end the story as planned without making it boring because you can always revisit the feel-good show for a perfect cozy Sunday night in.
