“DanMachi” is an English translation of the Japanese light novel series, which was originally known as Danjon no Deai or DanMachi for short. Written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, DanMachi is credited as one of the best-written and humorous fantasy series in recent years. The series has been turned into an anime series, whose fourth season is planned to broadcast in 2022.

The fourth season of DanMachi was revealed officially on January 31, 2021. It was also formally stated that the core personnel from the previous seasons would be returning to their positions for Season 4. In May 2022, it has been reported that DanMachi Season 4 would air on July 22, 2022. The season is planned to include roughly 12 episodes.
