Dr Disrespect Isn’t Allowed to Stream on Twitch Even After Resolved Lawsuit

Twitch and Guy Beahm, popularly known as Dr. Disrespect has ‘resolved’ their legal dispute, however, Guy Beahm will not return to the site.

Dr Disrespect

Dr. Disrespect posted on social media and claimed he was “moving on” and that neither he nor Twitch admitted any guilt after resolving the legal battle. We don’t know for sure if this is a legal settlement or just a parting of ways.

The streamer responded “the Doc will not return” when asked if he would return to Twitch now that the situation had been handled.

Earlier this year, Dr. Disrespect made the announcement that he was suing Twitch for its decision to ban him starting in June 2020. Twitch has never explained why the streamer, a Twitch partner with more than four million followers, was banned.

“I can’t talk about it, but a lot of people ask me, ‘do you know the reason?'” Yeah, I do know the reason why now,  he said in a statement on his YouTube channel.

“I’ve known for months now the reason why and I’ll just say this right now champs, ‘there’s a reason why we’re suing the f**k out of them.’ I don’t know how else to put it.”

Dr. Disrespect Is Currently Streaming on Youtube

Dr. Disrespect now streams solely on YouTube.  In December, Dr. Disrespect created a new AAA firm with former Call of Duty and Halo programmers named Midnight Society. An internet persona-based sitcom is also in the works for the streamer, and will exclusively stream on youtube.
