Elton John Pays $9M for Neighbouring Trousdale Estates Home
Yes, you heard it right. As per the recent report, Elton John has added another 1960s era home to his Beverly Hills Holdings and real estate portfolio that includes homes in Europe. The legendary musician and her husband David Furnish have bought a luxurious home by paying a whopping amount of $8.5 million for the property next door to their long-time home.
This luxurious home is located very close to his home in Trousdale Estates. According to Dirt, the sale of this house was an off-market deal that hammered out with his neighbor. In a recent report, it has been disclosed that their home is built in a 5,400 square foot area and has specifically mentioned that this home was built in 1968 and the building structure is quite old and traditional but luxurious inside the home.
This house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms with a large gate towards the entry and exit with a long lane. Much of the property is surrounded by large trees and it has been revealed that these trees are just for maintaining privacy and security for both of them.
Earlier, Elton John and Furnish bought a 20-acre estate in Bel Air for $33 million in 2015 and this was reported by Variety. They both previously owned two condo units at the Sierra Towers in West Hollywood but later on, they sold off the luxurious house to separate buyers.

The couple also owns one lavish property in Downtown Atlanta, as well as the properties across the pond in the United Kingdom, France, and Italy. Cindy Forward and her husband Rande Gerber recently sold their same size house to Elton John in Trousdale Estates. The sold home was renovated differently with a whopping amount of $13.5 million, yes true… its huge worth.
John and Furnish have been living in the neighborhood since 2012 when they paid $7.3 million for that particular property and this renovated property is 4,000 square feet with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. They renovated the home as per the trends, mostly black and white theme but previously it was kept the same as it was bought by Cindy and Gerber.
This one-story home has some classic interiors with midcentury features including a circular fireplace at the center of the open living area, floor-to-ceiling glass door, and windows. This includes a concrete patio at the rear of the home with a fire pit and a lounge area that leads over to a swimming pool. There is also a three-car garage and a large motor court at the front of the home.
The property is less than a half-mile from a 13,000 square foot spec luxurious mansion developed by Mohammad Hadid and later on, this was sold off to the mastermind of IMDb Jho Low and then sold off to Steven Gilfenbain who heads a grape distribution company Stevo Inc., and the amount of that property is $27.4 million.
In a recent interview, the duo revealed that they will be living in the home together which they have recently bought until and unless they are about to buy a new home for them. However, he mentioned that this home is his dream home so it would be difficult to leave it too early.
