Season 2 of In/Spectre is a much-anticipated season of the anime series, following the success of the first season in winter 2020. Kyok Suiri,’ via Japanese now, served as the inspiration for the series.
The supernatural anime series ‘In/Spectre’ is written by Kyo Shirodaira and illustrated by Hiro Kyohara and Chasiba Katase. For Volume 1, Kodansha published it under the Kodansha Novels banner. The Kodansha Taiga label released the second, third, and fourth volumes.
The anime served the blend of intrigue and emotive elements to produce something fresh and unusual, which the audience enjoyed. Between January 11 and March 28, 2020, Brain’s Base premiered season 1 of the anime television series adaptation.
The anime was loved by the audience and got mixed responses from the critics. It marked the scale of 6.7 out of 10 on IMDb. Still, the demand rose for another season. The first season of the anime “In/Spectre” contains a total of twelve episodes.
Though there is currently little information available, a second season of the series is confirmed to be in the works. Yes… You heard it right. Fortunately, it was officially announced that season 2 is set to premiere in 2022. Here’s what we know thus far about “In/Spectre” Season 2.
In/spectre’ Season 2 Release Date
‘In/Spectre’ Season, 2 will receive a second season… It’s confirmed Crunchyroll shared on Twitter in November 2020 that the story will come up with another season as well.
However, there is no set date for the anime’s release. It’s been a year since the anime was announced, but like other series, the production was hampered because of the pandemic. Later, a teaser image announced that ‘In/Spectre’ Season 2 will be released in 2022.
Banished From the Hero’s Party’ Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Trailer
Crunchyroll initially confirmed a second season of “In/Spectre.” In total, the announcement includes reactions to the series’ continuation from the creator of its textual source material, the author of its manga translation, and one of its major voice actors, as well as a season trailer.
Rather than highlighting sequences from Season 2, the trailer focuses on Season 1. The only thing new is the voiceover, which recounts some of the main events from the first season.
Talking about the release date, we expect that season will be out somewhere in the middle of the year as there was sufficient time to come back in the same time frame. But if things would be delayed, it will be dropped in the Q4 of the year only.
Yes, finally we have got some hints. It is confirmed that the majority of the cast will reprise their roles. Along with that, the staff members will return for the ‘In/Spectre’ season 2 production.
On November 6, 2021, the developers released the first promotional video for the anime. The video also confirms the reappearance of the main characters’ voices, Kitou Akari and Mamoru Miyano. Takatoshi Honda will be replaced as chief animation director and character designer by Kentarou Matsumoto.
So, overall you can meet your favorite characters again in the story. However, we believe, depending upon the storyline requirement, the anime will also bring some new faces to the story who will take the story to another level. Rest, all will be confirmed by part two itself.

In/spectre’ Season 2 Plot
The plot of “In/Spectre” centers upon two main sources of plot tension: Kotoko and Kuro’s involvement in the world of Yokai, and their blossoming relationship.
The most important advancement in the latter plotline that will have an impact on Season 2 is that, as of the end of Season 1, Kotoko and Kuro are officially a relationship, instead of merely courting each other.
Considering that the first season was centered on the first volume in the light novel series by author Kyo Shirodaira, substantially, if not all, of the narrative in Season 2 is likely to be drawn from the second “In/Spectre” light novel. Author Patrick Frye compared the first season of the anime to its source on the blog Monsters & Critics and deemed it to be nearly comparable.
They explained that in the second volume of the light novel series, Kotoko and Kuro investigate a mystery in Totomizu, a beach tourist attraction. Furthermore, Kuro’s cousin Rikka, like in Season 1, remains an adversarial presence. More information on the plot of “In/Spectre” Season 2 and how it may be reimagined
