The new Lady Gaga persona is entirely out of her mind. In “Joker: Folie à deux,” the singer/actress is expected to play Harley Quinn.
Starring Joaquin Phoenix once again as the Joker, Gaga posted a photo of herself in costume. Just “Folie à Deux” and a joker emoji were written as the photo’s caption.
For his role in the groundbreaking 2019 DC flick, Phoenix took home an Oscar for best actor. The sequel is likewise directed by the original film’s director, Todd Phillips.
Phillips posted a picture of himself with Gaga with the message “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

Warning: Todd Phillips and Lady Gaga have released the first trailer for the musical sequel to 2019’s Joker, titled Joker: Folie à Deux. As a special Valentine’s Day gift, Phillips and Gaga shared the identical photo on Instagram(Opens in a new tab) on February 14.

In the picture, Joaquin Phoenix is back in full clown makeup as Arthur Fleck (aka The Joker), while Lady Gaga as Dr. Harleen Quinzel (later Harley Quinn). It isn’t easy to make out details in the background. On the other hand, it appears to be a cell.
We may be in Arkham State Hospital. Well, maybe it’s my imagination, but it seems like Harley’s singing at this very moment. (I’m crossing my fingers that she’s belting out one of Gaga’s many club hits.)
Phillips titled the shot “Happy Valentine’s Day,” highlighting the couple’s twisted romance, while Gaga titled hers “Folie à Deux.”
