According to the announcement, the airline would provide a complimentary airline ticket to new credit card members with a value of up to $3,000 as a welcome benefit. There will be no blackout periods for using the co-branded credit card to buy airline tickets, and clients will earn accelerated ‘6E Rewards’ (points) on all purchases.

In addition to earning additional rewards on dining, shopping, transportation, medical bill, utilities, fuel, and other major categories, it was noted that customers will have access to other special benefits on IndiGo, such as discounted convenience fees, priority check-in, choice of seat, and a complimentary meal.

“Ka-ching has teamed with IndiGo to enable its clients to take advantage of the boom in international travel. The Kotak-IndiGo Credit Card is a valuable addition to our growing portfolio of cards and will be the preferred card in our customers’ wallets,” Chandna said.
