The Warren Commission, an American investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1964, concluded that American citizen Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. Two days after his arrest, he was gunned down in the Dallas police headquarters basement.
After decades of speculation regarding Oswald’s involvement in JFK‘s assassination, the CIA finally addressed those rumours on Thursday by stating that the agency had “never engaged” Oswald and had not hidden any information about him from US investigators.
Scholars and theorists who have studied the JFK assassination for years believed that the most recent release would provide light on Oswald’s activities in Mexico City, where he met a Soviet KGB officer in October 1963.
