The Manga series Kakegurui- Compulsive Gambler, written and directed by Yuuichirou under the MAPPA animation house, is a Netflix original series that stars Homura Kawamoto and Yuuichirou. Netflix began airing this popular show in 2018 and it lasted through the end of 2019.

Yumeko Javami
She is one of Hyakkaou’s intriguing new students who is hooked on gambling. Her eyes are bright red, and her hair is long and straight in black. Other high-class pupils’ accomplishments were converted into failures because she was able to deduce their sleight of hand. She didn’t give a fig about following the rules of the school and gambled for the purpose of it.
Mary Saotome
Like Yumeko, Mary was a top-rated gambler at school, but unlike Yumeko, she is more concerned with her social standing than with the fun of the game. She wanted to lead the Student Council.
Ryota Suzui
She was a terrible gambler. She was Mary’s pet and owed her a lot of money.
Kirari Momobami
She is the head of the school’s student organization. She treated the most indebted pupils as if they were house dogs, and required them to serve the other students.
Rei Bastubami
She works as a nanny for the Momobami club, where her duties include setting up gambling events but refraining from participating in them herself.
Kakegurui Season 3 Expected Plot
Hyakkaou Private Academy, the setting of the story, has regulations and modules that are more complex than those found in a conventional educational institution. Gambling is the basis for their existence. They teach the students how to play the game of chance.
Those who succeed are rewarded with fame and power, while those who fail are reduced to the status of slaves or pets and forced to serve their fellow pupils.
When Yumeko Javami, a new student, walks into the picture, their world is flipped upside down. When it comes to gambling, her character is shown as a self-described “compulsive” gambler. As she tries her hand at gambling, she becomes known as a formidable adversary to her rivals. The upper-class pupils’ cheating ways are made public, and she shows them the true meaning of fighting.
Yuriko briefly turned Yumeko into a Pet in Season 1, but that only lasted as long as she was able to overcome her foes. Season 2 depicts President Kirari Momobami’s decision to dissolve the Hyakkaou Council, and the subsequent hunt for a new winner to take her place. Yumeko, a gambling addict, enters the race, unaware that Mary Saotome is also vying for the position.
