Lucifer Season 6- Release Date Status, Cast, Plot, Trailer & More Updates

We so far have Lucifer Season 5, which earlier stated as the concluding season of devils story. The audience has enjoyed watching Lucifer on the popular network Netflix and demanding for more. We already had Part 2 of Season 5 which dropped on May 28 but it will be a disappointment for the show lovers that Lucifer Season 6 will be the concluding season. But still, it is good that the audience is getting one more part, season 6 as a bonanza from the makers. As stated initially we are not getting the sixth installment of Lucifer. The series lovers started signing thousands of petitions demanding for the next season, considering so much popularity and efforts of the fans, makers are moved to revise the decision and come back with another season. Fans delighted and celebrated when Netflix confirmed the news of the concluding season shifted to the 6th installment. The official news came out from twitter stating the number 666 which represented that Lucifer is renewed to Season 6 as final. Let’s dive into .. for getting a review of Season 6 possibilities.

Release Date- When it is about to come?

There is no announcement regarding the dates officially. Netflix did not declare the dates of Lucifer Season 6, till now. As we have part 2 of season 5, this May. The season wrapped its filming so there is a possibility that we may get the chance to feast our eyes with the next season this year 2021 or early 2022, but if consider Lucifer previous seasons’ release, we get an idea that there is no set pattern for the premieres hence we can only expect it to be out soon…

Lucifer Season 6 Cast

Well, the story is not concluded so we can expect the whole cast to return for the finale season. The characters played their roles perfectly so there is no reason to change the faces in the concluding season. It is cent percent sure that we’ll be having the star characters in Season 6 but we will have two or three new characters lined up for the appearance in the next story. At the end of Season 5, we meet a new face ‘GOD’ who is looking for a new successor, but fans are expecting God to be a recurring character throughout season 6. It will be amazing to meet the whole cast again in Season 6.


The trailer of season 6 is not out yet. For now, we have to manage with the episodes of season 5 already available for streaming.We will bring it to you if the official trailer as soon as it comes out.

Lucifer Season 6 Plot

The plot for season 6 will surely be different from the previous season. In the next season, we may see Chloe developing relationships with future God. In the last episode of season 5, we have seen Michael was defeated so we can expect Lucifer more as God. In Season 5, we meet a new character god to search for a successor God, it seems that the story will revolve around God. As we don’t know much about season 6, but it is probable that the series may come with 10-12 episodes. We have to wait for the next season to be out for more clarity but it is sure that the season will be full of surprises and nothing will be the same.


As we know that season 5 was supposed to be the concluding one and now if the team is coming with a new season, surely it will be a pretty interesting look, there is news that Lucifer’s last installment will be the most expensive to the series hence it is going to be very different and much more fascinating. Though the dates are not out yet, hopefully we will not have to wait much to dive into next season.
