How Many Kids Does Mathew Knowles Have?
Mathew Knowles is the father of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, two of the most famous singers in the world, and two other children about whom not much is known. Mathew Knowles is the proud dad of musical powerhouses Beyoncé and Solange. Matthew and his ex-wife Tina Knowles, who he divorced in 2011, have two stunningly talented daughters together.
Koi Knowles, 10, was born before Mathew and Tina’s divorce, and Nixon Knowles, 10, was born in a different relationship. Beyoncé, age 38, and Solange, age 34, are Mathew’s two eldest children, and they are both extremely brilliant singers and songwriters who consistently top charts throughout the world.
Beyoncé’s rise to fame began when she hired Mathew to manage the group she had created with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams; the trio became known as Destiny’s Child. Solange, the youngest sibling, got her start in the spotlight dancing but eventually became a successful solo artist in her own right.
Solange and Beyoncé look like they got the genetic jackpot with their parents, Tina and Mathew, who are also successful musicians in their own right. After getting married in 1980, Tina filed for divorce in 2009, and it was finally finalized in 2011.
She abandoned the case, only to re-file in 2010 (the same year that both of Mathew’s other children were born, coincidentally or not). Beyoncé terminated Mathew’s employment as her manager not long after the divorce and the exposure of the serial infidelities and its result.

Mathew admits to having an affair with Canadian actress Alexsandra Wright, with whom he had a son named Nixon in February 2010. Their connection had begun as professional but quickly grew romantic.
Mathew admitted that he is Nixon’s father after a DNA test proved it. Wright reported that even though their marriage had ended because of the incident, Mathew had no contact with their kid and was not paying the required child support.
It turns out that Mathew had a very active year in 2009. The things he did to Wright during their affair were wrong. TaQoya Branscomb, a dancer, had Mathew’s second child, a girl named Koi, just four months after the birth of Nixon.
The music producer had d@ted the dancer until she became pregnant, and then he dumped her. Branscomb said that Mathew had made her feel like the love of his life, but she has no regrets despite the anguish of his desertion.
Like Wright, Branscomb had to resort to the legal system to get Mathew to recognize her daughter Koi as his, despite the fact that DNA tests had already established beyond a reasonable doubt that she was indeed his.

Successful real estate salesperson that he is today, Branscomb is crossing his fingers that the Knowles family will accept Koi into their fold. When asked, she remarked.
“In regards to family visitation, I am always open to her having a relationship with her father and all her extended family members. Whether or not that happens, Koi will be just fine.”

Branscomb and Wright have said that Mathew is a “deadbeat dad” and doesn’t care about his kids. Mathew asked the judge to cut the child support he owed Nixon from $12,000 to $2,500 a month when he was fired by Beyoncé.
Wright claims this has left her little choice but to seek financial aid in order to provide for her kid. Beyoncé and Jay Z already have three children, Blue Ivy, eight, and twins Sir and Rumi, three. She claims that Mathew offered her to give up her son to them to raise.
Mathew married former model Gena Avery two years after his divorce from Tina, but neither Solange nor Beyoncé showed up to the ceremony. The pair has no children together. Mathew’s ex-wife Tina and their children Solange and Beyoncé were worried about him after he was diagnosed with breast c@ncer in October 2019.
