What is Epic Games Modern Warfare 3 Release Date 2023?

Modern Warfare 3 Release Date 2023

Modern Warfare 3 Release Date 2023

The next Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 3, is coming out soon. It will be the straight follow-up to Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and will build on what that game set up. Fans haven’t heard from the makers yet, but there have been a few leaks online that show what to expect when the game comes out. This covers the weapons, the game platforms, and more.

Fans who can’t wait for MW3 to come out should watch the Call of Duty 2023 reveal event, which will happen in the DMZ mode of Warzone 2 on August 17, 2023. But if fans are too eager to know what to expect at launch, this piece will list everything that is known about MW3 right now, including all the game modes, weapons, returning characters, and more.

What is the Release Date for Modern Warfare 3 in 2023?

A small teaser for the game was posted on Monday (7 August 2023), confirming Call of Duty this year will be a direct successor to last year’s game and setting its release date for November 10. That teaser says “the ultimate threat awaits” in Modern Warfare 3, and all clues point to Vladimir Makarov, a recurring antagonist from previous Call of Duty games.

This Twitter post also confirms the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 3:

The preview runs for 41 seconds and features the voice of mustachioed super soldier John Price from Modern Warfare warning against burying your foes alive, followed by what seems like a stylized, waveform image of Makarov’s face.

In the post-credits, cinematic for last year’s Call of Duty, Russian terrorists appeared to be preparing to hijack a commercial airplane, with Makarov instructing his agents, “No Russian.” That’s obviously a reference to the notorious Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 level of the same name, in which Russian terrorist k!ll scores of passengers at the Moscow airport.

On Which Platforms is Modern Warfare 3 Playable?

Because it is based on the same engine as its predecessor, Modern Warfare 3, like its predecessor, can be enjoyed on both new and old platforms. All the way from the PS4 and PS5 to the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and the PC (via Battle.net and Steam). The game is not anticipated to be included in Xbox Game Pass anytime soon.

It has been speculated that the game will support players from different generations of consoles and will be available on several platforms. Since Modern Warfare 2 and this game share an engine, we don’t anticipate significant modifications to the PC system requirements.

Modern Warfare 3 Pre-order Bonuses

Both a standard and premium version of Modern Warfare 3 is planned for release. Users can anticipate paying $70 for the Standard edition and up to $100 for the Premium edition. Players on different generations of consoles might anticipate a physical release. While we don’t have official pricing information just yet, we can expect similar prices and versions to that of Modern Warfare 2 (2022).

The pre-order bonuses have been poorly communicated, and no specifics have been provided. Fans, however, may look forward to Operator skin packs and Campaign early access. Fans who pre-order the premium edition will gain Early Campaign Access in addition to receiving free Battle Pass upgrades, exclusive bundles, and more.

Modern Warfare 3 Characters

Two characters confirmed to return in Modern Warfare 3 are Captain Price and Ghost. The poster for MW3’s promotional event with Monster Energy Drink was accidentally released online. It showed the two protagonists and an evil eye watching the drama unfold.

There’s no official confirmation of the identity of the character, but fans believe it’s Makarov. At the end of the MW2 campaign, he was still a topic of conversation. There will be more returning characters, though. Fans may look forward to seeing familiar faces like Soap, Gaz, General Shepherd, Laswell, Farah, Alex, and more from Modern Warfare 2 since this game is a direct sequel to that game.

Philip Graves could possibly come back as well. Warzone 2’s Season 5 update confirmed that Graves and the Shadow Company are still active and doing well. As a result, it shouldn’t come as a shock if the MW2 villain reappears in a future release.
