We have the first trailer for the upcoming Netflix horror film The Strays, which is sure to be the topic of many conversations after its February 22 release.
The film is the newest addition to Netflix’s stellar UK slate, which has previously brought us The Wonder, I Used to Be Famous, and I Came By. The Strays appears to be a social thriller in the vein of I Came By, promising to keep you guessing until the very end.
The story revolves around Neve, a middle-class woman who seems to have it all: a comfortable suburban home, a devoted family, and a career as the deputy head of the local private school. But what if the whole thing is an elaborate hoax? Neve’s life begins to fall apart after two mysterious strangers show up in town.
The Strays is the first feature film from writer-director Nathaniel Martello-White (Small Axe: Mangrove, I Hate Suzie), who drew influence from films like Funny Games and Get Out. But don’t take our word for it; the film’s first trailer is amazing.
