In the spring of 2020, looter, a popular anime series in the action-fantasy genre, debuted with its anime. Manga series written by Suu Minazuki and published by Kadokawa since 2014 is the basis for the anime.
The anime, which premiered in Japan on January 8, 2020, was licensed by Funimation and Hulu TV and animated by the Geek Toys studio, which we are familiar with from the hensuki anime series.
Fans are wondering what will happen to the second season of the show after watching the first season’s 24 episodes.
Is There Going to Be a Second Season of This Show?
For now, the Geek Toys studio or any other company associated with the show has not yet renewed the anime for another season. Despite this, we don’t want to lead our supporters down a path of negativity. This is a common occurrence in anime.
We’ve been speculating about the second season of the anime because no official announcement has been made. There are a few factors to consider when determining whether or not the show will be renewed for a second season. One of the most important factors is whether or not there is enough material for a second season.

Suu Minazuki wrote and illustrated the manga that inspired the looter anime. December 2014 marked the beginning of the manga’s publication run in Monthly Shnen Ace magazine.
At the time of this writing, there are 19 volumes in the Plunderer manga series, with the most recent one being released on October 26, 2021.
So, how many of these were made into anime episodes during the first season? The answer to this question is 38 chapters. Volume 10, chapter 38 is covered in the first season. Since the first season of the anime, there has been as much source material made available as there was in the anime.
To put it another way, a new season of manga could serve as the basis for a television show. It will take time to adapt the source material to the anime, even if the series is revived because only a small amount of it has been completed.
The Global Appeal of Anime
When the series first aired, it was largely unknown to the general public, but it continued to be viewed afterward. We’ve recently noticed an increase in the number of people searching for anime on Google around the world. In contrast, according to Myanimelist’s popularity rankings, anime is currently ranked 586th.
It was expected that the anime would sell at least a thousand copies in its first week of release, but it only sold about 200. (Assumed to be between 3,000 and 4,000)
Due to shifting consumer habits, disc sales have decreased over the past few years. Finally, we can see how popular anime is in Japan by looking at the Twitter account, which has 16,000 followers. More than 100,000 people in Japan are following the new season’s approved animes.
Plunderer Season 2 Expected Release Date
The anime’s second season has yet to be confirmed as of November 2021. We made some wild guesses about the anime’s second season and even discussed the possibility of a third season. By now, the manga has amassed a substantial body of source material and enjoys a level of worldwide acclaim well above average.
In Japan, however, anime isn’t very popular and the disc sales aren’t doing well. Even though we’re worried, we’re optimistic about the future. There is a good chance that the anime will only take a year to produce if a new run is started soon. In this case, the new season will not begin until 2023 or 2024.

When you’re a Plunderer, you have a number one. It’s like the total of all the good things we’ve done in our lives! If we don’t add new points over time, we will lose all of our current points and return to a starting point of zero.
What happens if you stay at zero for an extended period? At the request of her mother, Hina sets out to find the Red Baron. Litch, a fellow traveler with a dismal rating, is also on the prowl for the Red Baron. It’s a joy to watch this forced duo’s fantastic journey unfold.
In the second season, we can expect to continue this exciting journey. The first episode of Season 3 of Netflix’s Black Mirror series bears a striking resemblance to the beginning of this series.
