Over 400,000 Copies Of Prince Harrys Spare Book Sold: Sales of Prince Harry’s controversial autobiography have reportedly surpassed the publisher’s “most optimistic predictions.” Over 400,000 copies of Spare have been sold, making it the fastest-selling nonfiction book published by Transworld Penguin Random House.
That covers traditional print, radio, and digital formats. The first-week sales of 1.84 million copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 2007 are still a record for fiction in the United Kingdom. Larry Finlay, the managing director of Transworld, stated: “The book’s success has far surpassed our wildest hopes.
Experts believe that Spare will be one of the best-selling pre-order novels of the previous decade, therefore several UK bookstores opened early Tuesday morning in anticipation of high demand. Several eager customers waited outside the WH Smith at London’s Victoria station until it opened at midnight to be among the first to purchase a book.

In his 407-page memoir, Harry vents his anger at certain members of the British media, details his unresolved trauma over his mother’s death, discusses his struggles with mental health, describes the solitary life he led before meeting Meghan, and laments the break in relations with the Royal Family.
The book may be purchased at discounted prices from retailers like Waterstones and WH Smith, as well as via online retailers like Amazon. Pre-publication leaks of material from the book, according to US bookstore Barnes & Noble, “further heightened the hysteria.”

An executive at the American bookstore chain, Shannon DeVito, said, “As a bookseller, it is fantastic to have a major release like this to start our new year.” Customers are flocking to our bookstores in unprecedented numbers as a result of the leakage of excerpts, which has further heightened the excitement.”Some have criticized Prince Harry for his forthrightness in his book Spare, which includes his confession that he killed 25 Taliban terrorists while serving with the British Army in Afghanistan.
Prince Harry Reputation May Explode In The US
A public relations expert advised Newsweek that Harry should “take the club and drop it on the ground” because his critical portrayal of his experiences in the royal family risks becoming a “powder keg” that alienates Generation Z.
Transworld Penguin Random House, the book’s publisher, reports that the Duke of Sussex’s Spare sold a total of 400,000 copies in hardcover, Kindle, and audio format between its pre-order and first-day sales, making it the fastest-selling non-fiction book of all time.

Anyone who has followed royal commentary over the past several years or seen Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary will know that the book and interviews he did surrounding it also caused a torrent of criticism.
Harry’s standing in Britain is at an all-time low after a recent YouGov survey found that 62% of respondents disapproved of him. As the head of Reputation Management Consultants, Eric Schiffer, told Newsweek, there are indicators that the media climate in the United States is beginning to shift in favour of the pair. “We’ve reached a turning point,” he declared.
I think that’s the main thing he’ll have to weigh. He’ll probably need to adopt a different path at some point, and I’ve already publicly suggested that he ditch the club and return his attention to the environmental and mental health initiatives, as well as equality, that he and Meghan have championed in the past.
