Wesker and his family will star in the Netflix version of Resident Evil if you’ve somehow forgotten that it’s still in development.
Resident Evil Is Coming to Netflix This Summer
This morning, Netflix revealed that the live-action Wesker Resident Evil series will premiere on July 14, 2022. Andrew Dabb, who previously wrote for Supernatural, will serve as showrunner, executive producer, and writer for the eight-episode season. Executive producer and writer Mary Leah Sutton is also on board.
This live-action series will take place in a universe all its own, apart from anything previously seen on screen, whether in a video game, a current film, or a CGI show on Netflix. The year is 2036, and the world has been plagued by a worldwide apocalypse for 14 years.
Must read-
It’s been a year since Jade Wesker’s sister Billie was kidnapped by the Umbrella Corporation, and she’s still plagued by what happened to her. As a result, it seems like a character-driven drama in the vein of AMC’s The Walking Dead.
As of today, Netflix has announced a July premiere date and confirmed that Lance Reddick will play Wesker in their live-action Resident Evil series. Connor Gossatti and Turlough Convery join Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nuez, Ahad Raza Mir, and the rest of the group.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will receive better visuals for Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7, and save data will also be transferred.
