The Book of Boba Fett Star Convinces Fans the Bounty Hunter Is Still an Antihero

How can one forget the character of Boba Fett? In the Star Wars universe, Boba Fett is a fictional character. He is an armored bounty hunter who appears in both the iconic and prequel film trilogies, though he was initially voiced by Don Francks in the Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

The protagonist was primarily portrayed by Jeremy Bulloch and voiced by Jason Wingreen in the prequel series as a supporting antagonist. Now, this time Boban  Fett may be a central character in Disney+’s The Book of Boba Fett, but that does not end up making him a great guy.

Ming-Na Wen, who tries to play Fett’s ally Fennec Shand, stated to Disney’s D23 Magazine how the bounty hunters’ dynamic is based primarily on their corresponding ability to share traumas and professions.

“They are linked by the fact that they have really had close calls with death. They also have a code of conduct that they both follow “she stated “So it will be fascinating to see how their relationship develops in The Book of Boba Fett. That’s probably all I have to say. The rest is up to you to figure out.”

When asked about Fett and Shand’s morality, Wen admitted that while they aren’t “bad guys,” they are “not that good either” when compared to other Mandalorian Star Wars characters. She went on to say, “We are the anti-hero.” “I enjoy playing anti-heroes. I believe you can get away with more.”

Morrison most recently reprised his role as Fett in the Star Wars: Visions episode “Tatooine Rhapsody.” Wen was created for The Mandalorian, furthermore voiced Shand in occurrences of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Boba Fett’s Appearances

On September 24, 1978, Boba Fett made his first appearance on the show at the San Anselmo Country Fair parade.  Duwayne Dunham, who’d been working as an assistant film editor at the time and later became a film and television director, wore the Boba Fett costume in the parade.  Two months later, the character made his television debut in interactive assets by Toronto-based animation studio Nelvana Productions for the Star Wars Holiday Special.

After an unfamiliar figure discovered Fennec Shand’s permanently disabled body on Tatooine, an unknown figure teased Fett’s return at the end of the Mandalorian episode “Chapter 5: The Gunslinger.”

Going to follow a cameo by Morrison in the Season 2 launch event, the two confirmed their partnership in “Chapter 14: The Tragedy,” uncovering that Fett had resurrected Shand with mechanical organs in order to reclaim his old armor from Din Djarin.
