Once again, the third season premiere of The Boys was shocking and unforgettable. An ingenious reference to the now-iconic non-sexually explicit Ant-Man and Thanos meme that went viral leading up to Avengers: Endgame was made in the pilot episode. Unlike other superhero cartoons, The Boys pays close attention to pop culture references and details.
Note that to keep its comments current, The Boys departs from its original material, the eponymous comic book series. This makes it difficult to find answers in the comics, but it also keeps the program interesting and unpredictable.
The Boys Season 4 Release Date
Unfortunately, we must begin with the unpleasant news. The Boys season 4 has not been officially announced as of yet. The Boys has a release window of 2024, which is great news.
Production ran from the end of 2018 into the beginning of 2023 after being recommissioned for the third season of The Boys in June 2022. The thankfully-now-over WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes finally put a stop to progress.
With the message “Editing: done,” Eric Kripke gave an update. VFX: it’s almost done. Quarter completed in music and sound. The actors are free to record more lines of dialogue now that the SAG strike has ended (yay!). Still no airdate, but you won’t be disappointed. We might have our finest season yet. Definitely the most outlandish.
We were hoping it would come in late 2023 or early 2024 like the show usually does. Now, we’re projecting a release sometime in the first half of 2024. Now that the last episode of the spin-off Gen V has been broadcast, we can only hope for an official airdate soon.

Who is in the Cast of The Boys Season 4?
Although a few of characters have left the show, the majority of the original cast has remained. Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, Ashley Barrett, Colby Minifie, and Cameron Crovetti are all returning for this season.
