Netflix had announced “The Witcher Season2” before the release of Season 1 in November 2019. “The Witcher Season 2” is a Fictional American TV series based on the series of the book written by Andrzej Sapkowski, who is a Polish writer. The series is created by Lauren S. Hissrich.
The Witcher Season 1 had a total of eight episodes which had been released on Netflix on December 20th, 2019.The filming of the second season had started in early 2020 in London, U.K, but the shooting had to be put on hold in March 2020 due the Covid-19 pandemic also one of the actors: Kristofer Hivju had tested positive for Covid-19.
The filming then resumed on 12th of August 2020 after the UK government granted permission for resuming the filming. Thereafter, in November 2020, few members from the crew tested positive and the filming had to be stopped, it took them two weeks to resume again for the filming.The production of Season 2 wrapped up on 2nd April, 2021.

- Wilson will be playing the role of Dara
- Jeremy Crawford will be playing the role of Yarpin Zigrin

- Joey Batey will be playing the role of traveling bard Jaskier
- Eamon Farron will be playing the role of Nilfgaard army commander Cahir
- MyAnna Buring will be playing the role of sorceress Tissaia de Vries
