Venom 3 Release Date Status, Cast, Plot, Trailer, And Latest News
Sony has finally confirmed that Venom 3, following Tom Hardy’s anti-brief hero’s excursion to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be released soon.
Several months after producer Amy Pascal said the film was in the “planning stages” just prior to the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, a logo for the upcoming third installment was unveiled at CinemaCon on April 25, 2022.
It’s unclear if Andy Serkis, who directed Venom: Let There Be Carnage, will return to direct the third installment. He has, however, previously stated that he is open to the idea: “I mean, yeah, of course. It’s such a wonderful world to play in.”
Here’s everything you need to know about Venom 3 while we wait for more information.

Venom 3 Potential Release Date
Although Venom 3 has been confirmed, no release date has been announced as of yet.
It looks like Sony’s Spider-Man universe will be busy for the next few years, with Kraven the Hunter (January 13, 2023), Madame Web (July 7, 2023), and El Muerto (January 12, 2024) all guaranteed releases.
Both Spider-Man: Across and Spider-Man: Beyond will be released on June 2 and March 29 of 2024, respectively.
If Venom 3 begins production in 2022, it is possible that the threequel will be released in theatres in 2024, possibly in October of that year, similar to the release dates of the previous two films in October 2018 and October 2021.
It’s only speculation at this point, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.
Venom 3 Cast
For Venom 3, we don’t have any definite cast announcements at this time. However, we can be very certain that Tom Hardy will reprise his role as Eddie Brock and his alien partner Venom.
We can only presume that Hardy had signed up for three more Venom movies when he revealed this in August 2018. However, even though he appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, we wouldn’t be surprised if Hardy returned for the third film.
Who else might show up is less certain, but Stephen Graham’s Patrick Mulligan is a possibility. He somehow survived the sequel despite being chained to a pole and suffering a terrible spinal injury, which appeared to be fatal.
His final minutes on the screen showed him with blue glowing eyes, rambling about monsters, therefore it’s safe to assume he’ll be playing Toxin. “There’s a possibility that may be explored in the future,” said the actor, who remained tight-lipped.
We don’t know if Michelle Williams will reprise her roles as Ann and She-Venom, but we hope she does. Williams expressed interest in playing She-Venom in Venom: Let There Be Carnage but didn’t get any screen time.
This is something she may explore further in the third film, along with her sometimes-uncooperative fiancé Dan Lewis (Reid Scott). With Dan by her side, we can’t see Ann coming back without him.
Peggy Lu as Mrs. Chen, the owner of the neighborhood convenience store, is a character we’d want to see more of.
Woody Harrelson‘s return as Cletus Kasady/Carnage as Venom biting off his head is out of the question, as is the case for the less-likely returning characters.
Also, it would be strange to see Naomie Harris after she was crushed to death by falling debris and a giant church bell in Shriek, but who knows?

Venom 3 Plot
Eddie Brock is now a fugitive, therefore we don’t know what more the threequel has in store for him and Venom.
Of course, the question of whether or not he’ll face off against Spider-Man in the next film will never go away. After a brief trip to the MCU, Eddie/Venom returned to his home realm in No Way Home.
In light of the MCU’s multiverse and Morbius’ own MCU crossover, it’s impossible to rule anything out.
Sony and Marvel’s creative teams appear eager to make it happen, but Kevin Feige of Marvel hinted that it wasn’t up to him, saying: “I believe Sony will have the last say on this matter.
Sony has both those characters and has Venom in their world.”
This could be the third movie, because, according to him, “it seems likely at some point” When it comes to Let There Be Carnage, both Serkis and Hardy have made it clear that they intend to make it happen.
“Should both sides be willing, and it is beneficial to both sides, I don’t see why it couldn’t be. I hope and strongly, with both hands, push, eagerly, towards that potential, and would do anything to make that happen, within what’s right in business,” he stated.
“But it would be foolish not to head towards the Olympic Games if you were running 100 meters, so yeah! I want to play on that field.”
It is possible that in the third film, Venom may be drawn into a Sinister Six team-up that Morbius set up in this dimension.
