More California Inflation Stimulus Check Hitting Direct Deposit Starting Friday

Starting this Friday, qualified recipients will begin receiving their third installment of the California Middle-Class Tax Refund, also known as inflation relief payments or inflation stimulus checks. 

Those who also got Golden State Stimulus payments in 2021 are the only ones to receive an inflation relief check. 

The government has already issued one set of debit cards and one set of direct deposits. 

According to the Franchise Tax Board, the remaining direct deposits will be made between Friday, October 28, and Monday, November 14. 

The rest of the debit cards are being given out in groups based on last name.

How can you find out if you will receive a check or a debit card? Looking back at how you filed your taxes for 2020 is the simplest approach to telling if you will be receiving a direct deposit payout. 

You can expect to get this one-time tax refund via direct deposit if you filed online and got a refund from the state of California.
