After failing to register as a sex offender in Los Angeles, Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, was given three-year probation and a year of house arrest

Kenneth entered a guilty plea in September for failing to register as a sexual offender but was only recently ordered to pay a fine of $55,000.

Page Six reports that Petty was arrested in March 2020 because he had ignored a November 2019 California court order to register as a sex offender.

Before he started dating Minaj, he had to register as a sex offender in New York because he had been convicted of attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1994
