PEOPLE has learned that Valerie Bertinelli and Tom Vitale have finalized their divorce. The divorce was finalized and a proposed judgment was submitted on Tuesday. The two parties and their respective legal counsel have all signed the 12-page agreement. The divorce papers state that the Food Network star will pay her ex-husband $2.2 million “in full, final, and complete settlement and satisfaction of any and all claims between them.”

According to the paperwork, Bertinelli and Vitale will both be financially responsible for themselves.
