Nicole Young rose to prominence after marrying hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre, while she was previously best known as the ex-wife of former NBA star Sedale Threatt. After three years of marriage, she divorced Sedale. She was a lawyer before she met and married Dr. Dre. On May 25, 1996, the two tied the knot.

Nicole stated that the two of them could not resolve their differences and thus were filing for divorce in June 2020. For Nicole, this is her second breakup.
However, in October, a judge sided with the rapper and decided that he was not required to pay the $1.5 million in security expenses for his ex-wife. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Dre to pay Nicole $293,306 per month in July 2021. A provisional decision was made until a permanent one could be made.
As stated in the court filings, “[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,” Dre will pay a total of $3,519,672 annually until Nicole remarries or “enters into a new domestic partnership.”

Andre Romelle Young, better known by his stage name Dr. Dre, has achieved legendary status in the American music industry. On February 18, 1965, Young entered the world in Compton, California. His mom brought him up and eventually wed Curtis Crayon.

Dr. Dre began his career in the music industry in 1985, performing with several rap and rock bands. From 1985 until 1990, he was at the height of his fame as a member of the groundbreaking rap group N. W. A. He found popularity after inventing the influential West Coast G-Funk style.
He achieved unprecedented global popularity with his slow and heavy beats. He became widely known for his role in founding Death Row Records. His debut album on Death Row Records, The Chronic, was released later that year.
The record propelled him to the position of top-selling American rapper. After spending some time at Death Row Records, he decided to start his own label, Aftermath Entertainment, in 1996. His label eventually found success with the release of a compilation album in 1996. He followed that up with a solo album in 2001.
