Martha Raddatz is a reporter for ABC News in the United States. She was born on February 14, 1953. She reports for ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir, Nightline, and other network broadcasts in her role as the Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for the network.
In addition to the work that she does for ABC News, Raddatz has written for The New Republic, and she is a regular guest on the programme Washington Week that airs on PBS. On “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” Raddatz is a co-anchor and the show’s primary fill-in anchor.

Raddatz was the top reporter for the Boston station that broadcasts ABC News before 1993. Raddatz worked for NPR as a Pentagon correspondent from 1993 until 1998.
Reporting frequently from Iraq, Raddatz began her career at ABC News in 1999 as the network’s State Department correspondent. In May 2003, she was promoted to senior national security correspondent.
