Lead singer for the extreme heavy metal band Suicide Silence, Mitch Lucker, has tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident.
The 28-year-old man was killed when he crashed his Harley Davidson into a light pole in Huntington Beach, California.

The singer passed away the day after the accident, on 31 October. The police investigated the collision to determine what caused it and whether alcohol played a role. ‘There’s no easy way to say this,’ the band wrote on Facebook.
“Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident.
“This is devastating to all of us, and we offer our deepest condolences to his family. He will be forever in our hearts.”
The band’s third studio album, The Black Crown, debuted at number nine on the Billboard hard rock album chart.

On Thursday night (1 November), a candlelight vigil was held in Huntington Beach for the late singer. The group tweeted, “Words cannot even describe the amount of love expressed at tonight’s candlelight vigil. Amazing.”
