According to a social media post made by his sister, popular TikTok star Piko Preston, aka Jon Preston, has passed away at the age of 43.
His sister confirmed his passing in a Facebook memorial she posted on August 14.

“My wonderful, energetic, wild, generous, funny, and much loved little brother Jon (Piko Preston) passed away this week at the age of 43. I can’t even wrap my head around a world without him in it,” wrote Lara Preston Neves.
Piko Preston was quite popular on social media, especially on the video-sharing platform TikTok, where he gained over a million followers and over 13.1 million likes.
On August 2, Piko Preston posted his final video on the social networking site TikTok.
TikToker Piko Preston Dies at 43
Piko gained fame as a TikTok creator and influencer. A video he uploaded on April 26 has been liked over 180,000 times and has been viewed over 1.6 million times so far. The same may be said for many of his other videos.
Piko Preston, better known by his Twitter handle, @pikotrain5, was a popular Content creator recognized for his humorous videos across a variety of topics. There has been no confirmation of what exactly caused death. There have been several online tributes and greetings from fans and other content makers.
DJHUNTS (@djhuntsofficial), a TikTok creator who calls himself a “best buddy” of the late social media sensation, made a video in his honor.
Some users have expressed their appreciation by stating things like, “Thank you Piko for your hysterical TikToks. You always made me smile! I’m sure you’re bringing lots of laughs into heaven. God bless.”
“He was one of the first individuals I followed on Tik Tok,” said another fan. “His humor was fantastic. It never failed to make me chuckle whenever those eyebrows arched. RIP.”

Jon is the most generous person I have ever known. He gave everything to everyone. He was our family peacemaker and always mediated sibling disagreements while we were growing up and continued to do his best to make everyone around him happy every single day of his life. If Jon was around you were guaranteed to laugh. He was the most fun uncle to my children and each of my girls has a special connection with him even though we live so far apart. He recently began a TikTok account where his beautiful smile, wicked sense of humor, and impeccable comedic timing made his one million followers laugh on a daily basis.
We love you so much Jon-Jon. I am so glad I got one last hug when we visited in June. We will all do our best to be more giving and loving to honor your example. Until we meet again.”
