Better Call Saul, a black comedy, the legal drama, premiered on AMC for the first time on February 8, 2015. It is a prequel series of another renowned black comedy-drama, Breaking Bad by Gilligan. Better Call Saul spins around a con artist and fervent lawyer, Jimmy McGill, who later became an Odenkirk), an earnest lawyer and former con artist, into a desirous criminal defense lawyer and came to known as Saul Goodman.
Critics and fans praised the ten-episode season 1 for the storyline and performance of the cast. Critics even said that the series is better than the successor series. Owing to the immensely positive feedback, AMC has produced four more seasons so far, and the sixth season is lined up. Unfortunately, Season 6 will be the last and final season of the series.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Release Date
Well, Better Saul season 5 premiered on April 20, 2020, and since then, fans have started expecting season 6. To the delight of the fans, the makers scheduled the release of season 6 in 2021. However, owing to difficulties one after another, the show could not premiere in time.
Firstly, the Covid-19 pandemic halted the shooting of season 5. Later, the filming of the series halted due to the unfortunate event with Odenkirk.
Odenkirk suffered a heart attack, but fortunately, he recovered without surgery and resumed shooting.
According to the sources, the filming of the series wrapped up in December, and the series is post-production stage.
Unfortunately, the makers are still tight-lipped about the release date. There is not even the slightest hint of the premiere date.
However, the makers have earlier revealed that the series will hit the screen somewhere in the first quarter of 2022. The makers have teased the fans by sharing a few details about what they will witness in the upcoming season.
During an interview with Den Of Geek, The executive producer of the series, Thomas Schnauz, hinted towards Tony’s timeline and the role of Lalo’s. He hinted that Lalo would have some intriguing role in the final season. He said –
“I can’t say if Lalo’s role will be bigger or smaller in season six, but he was certainly pissed off and a man on a mission in the season five finale.”

The above statement of Thomas indicates that Lalo’s role will give you a hell of entertainment.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the other executive director, Peter Gould stated that the viewers must-ask question themselves to see where the storyline will go. A few of the essential questions they must ask is “What does this man deserve?’ ‘What’s going to happen to him?’ but ‘What would be a deserving end to this?'”Does Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman/Gene Takovic deserve death? Does he deserve love? What would be the most fitting end for this guy – for the show?”
He further stated that the viewers must also ask about the absence of Kim Wexler during Saul Goodman’s dealing with Jesse and Walt.
Well, in the finale episode of season 5, it seems that Kim is dead. However, Speaking to The Guardian, Odenkirk hinted that Kim is alive. He shared that he thinks Kim is somewhere in New York and practicing law there.
During an interview with Collider, Tony Dalton has increased the curiosity of the fans by saying “You have no idea what’s going to happen. It’s out of control what these guys wrote. Out of control.”
Gould also said the Nacho is in “deep, deep trouble” as he is caught between Don and Gus.
Schnauz stated that the upcoming season would have lots of violence. He further stated that the show has always been violent since its beginning and, the makers are trying to finish it efficiently without keeping in mind the amount of violence.
Rhea Seehorn has stated that the ending of the series will not be happy. She concluded the upcoming season in a word “Devastating.”
