David and Zo welcomed Cleo on May 8, 2011, in New York, according to his spokesman. Except for the occasional red carpet-appearance, much of her childhood was kept hidden. She spent the majority of her life in New York City with her parents, although she also got to travel.
She spent some time overseas while her father worked on Intelligence, which was filmed in the United Kingdom. She’s here for the duration of the shoot, and luckily her mother is British, so she’s got eight cousins her age here,” David explained to Jessie Ware on her Table Manners podcast. She’s got all her aunts and uncles on her mom’s side, so she has a great time.
David and Zoë are dedicated co-parents
Despite announcing their divorce in 2017, David and his ex-wife co-parent their child with ease. Zo even gushed about their collaboration on Instagram in 2022, when she wished her daughter a happy birthday.
“Please join me in blessing up this child for her birthday! I personally want to also send thanks & praise to her Dad: my co-collaborator|the best co-parent. She’s Got a Bold Sense of Style
Cleo enjoys experimenting with her particular style, such as dying her hair in various colors such as blue and pink, and even shaving her head.
In 2020, her mother shared a snapshot of herself helping Cleo trim her hair. “The world is saying “bun it down and rebuild” and the babies are listening,” she posted on Instagram. I see how kids today challenge norms and standards in a way that we didn’t, and that, amongst other things, gives me hope!
