Another Canadian film is all set to leash horror on the screens this August. This upcoming release is called Demonic by Neil Blomkamp which is going to be both terrifying and trippy. The director & writer of the film is already best known for science fiction action films like District 9 and Elysium and now he is coming up with a very new project that involves horror, action, thriller, and drama. What is the release date of Demonic?

The trivia says that this film was secretly shot in Canada over the course of covid-19 pandemic in the year 2020. The creators have officially announced the release date to be August 20, 2021. The film has already premiered at Berlinale, the 71st Berlin International Film Festival in March 2021. Then, IFC midnight bought the distribution rights for the film for the USA which made it to release in theatres globally on 20 August.

Who is in the cast of Demonic?

The storyline of Demonic follows a young woman who unleashes terrifying demons when supernatural forces are ruthlessly revealed.

Carli Pope is heading the cast as she will play the role of the women who get transported into the simulation world.

We do not have much information about the cast of Demonic but we know that Chris William Martin will play Martin and Nathalie Bolt will play Angela.

The trailer is very creepy yet horrifying which reveals a young woman getting transported into a simulation reality. The trailer is filled with horrific shots and creepy yet chanting music. It shows an alternate reality including demons, red Bible, authorities lying lifeless on the grass, and a woman sitting on an upside-down red chair.

The trailer does not give us any spoiler but did a perfect job in terrifying the audience.

Just like the synopsis and the trailer-teaser, the poster of demonic does not reveal much about the film. The poster shows a very creepy visual of a horrible lady surfacing into the shadow of a Blue cross sign on which it is written in white capital letters DEMONIC.
