American football player Earl Thomas is from a rich family. He was a player with the Seattle Seahawks from 2010 to 2018. The Baltimore Ravens acquired him in a trade before the 2019 season.
He played football at West Orange-Stark High School in West Orange, Texas, where he attended. Earl was an all-state selection and a three-year starter at wide receiver, running back, and defensive back.
Throughout his high school career, he racked up 112 total tackles, 11 interceptions, two touchdowns on kickoff returns, two touchdowns on punt returns, 1,850 rushing yards, and 2,140 receiving yards.

The Seattle Seahawks’ safety Earl Thomas was carted off the field with his lower left leg in an air cast during the fourth quarter of their 20-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
After the game, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll delivered the devastating news to reporters about Thomas’s immediate transfer to the X-ray room. In the moments following his accident, Thomas tweeted his thoughts:

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network Insider reports that Thomas broke his lower leg cleanly, without any ligament damage or dislocation. Rapoport continued, stating that Thomas ought to be cleared for free agency in March and completely recovered by the Super Bowl in February.
However, if Sunday was Thomas’ last game wearing a Seahawks uniform, it couldn’t have gone any worse for him after a remarkable career that saw him selected to six Pro Bowls and three first-team All-Pro choices.

Why is Earl Thomas Not Playing?
A practice confrontation with fellow safety Chuck Clark led to Thomas’ departure from the Ravens after just one season of play on a four-year contract he had signed before the 2019 campaign. The Ravens players did not want Thomas to stay on the team after he attacked Clark after that incident.
Earl Thomas Career
Under head coach Mack Brown, Earl Thomas was a collegiate football player for the University of Texas Longhorns from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, as a redshirt freshman, Earl started all 13 games at strong safety, recording 63 tackles and 17 pass breakups, which set a record for Longhorn freshmen.
In 2009, Earl picked off eight passes, two of which he returned for touchdowns. He decided to forgo his final two years of eligibility to sign with the NFL in 2010. The Seattle Seahawks chose Earl with the 14th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft’s first round.
He was one of the youngest players selected in the draft at the age of 20. Up until 2019, he was a member of the Seattle Seahawks, who won Super Bowl XLVIII.
Earl Thomas Home Caught Fire On Thursday
Earl Thomas’s Texas house caught fire on Thursday, but he survived a serious scare. Looks like Thomas was there, but unharmed. Lightning is believed to have caused the fire.
Reports state that although there were no injuries, extinguishing the fire was challenging due to the surrounding trees and vegetation. The fire destroyed the house, and it is believed to be a total loss.
It is believed that his mother and an additional family member were present when the incident occurred. Earl Thomas has not formally retired from the NFL, but he is no longer a member of any team. See the tweet for more details:

Between his nine seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, the 33-year-old earned five All-Pro accolades and six Pro Bowl selections. Along with the Seattle Seahawks, he helped them overcome the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.
Following his release from the Baltimore Ravens in 2019, Thomas was a member of the team. In 2020, following his release from the Ravens, Thomas went to see the Houston Texans. Though predicted, the former Pro Bowl safety chose not to join the team.
