FBI Season 5 Renewal Status
This is even better news: CBS has not only renewed FBI for Season 5, but it has also ordered a sixth season. CBS has also given the two FBI spin-offs, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted, fresh two-season contracts each.
CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl announced the decision in early May 2022, saying, “The FBI’s are one of the most successful brands in the entire TV landscape and a powerful cornerstone of our #1 lineup.”
“They’ve attracted a dedicated, loyal fan base, thanks to the extraordinary vision of executive producer Dick Wolf and the talents of all three outstanding casts and creative teams. I know we and our viewers look forward to two additional seasons of engaging, heroic stories.”
FBI Season 5 Release Date
There is currently no official release date for FBI Season 5 on CBS, but the network has confirmed that Season 5 and Season 6 are scheduled to air in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
As long as 7.5 million people are still tuning in to watch, it shouldn’t be a deterrent to bringing back the show for another season.
Season 3 of FBI premiered on November 19, 2017, followed by season 4 on September 21, 2021. It is expected that season 5 will be released in the fall of 2022, between September and December.
According to some accounts, CBS’s FBI show has a larger fan base than Young Sheldon. The FBI is still the most-watched show on television, despite a decrease in viewers. We already know when Young Sheldon’s new season will air, so let’s hope the FBI follows suit.
Season 5 of FBI is expected to premiere in the fall.
For now, you can catch up on FBI, Most Wanted, and FBI: International via the CBS App.

FBI Season 5 Plot
Some new characters are expected to be introduced in the upcoming fifth season of FBI. CBS was impacted by the decline in demo and audience rates.
From hacking a hospital for ransom to shielding powerful politicians, the FBI has examined a wide range of crimes over the previous four seasons. In Season 5, the team will face new obstacles as they try to strike a balance between their personal lives and their professional endeavors.
In addition, viewers will be watching if Agent Maggie Bell (played by Missy Peregrym) survives her sarin gas poisoning and if she and O.A. (Zeeko Zaki) become romantically involved.
FBI Season 4 has 22 episodes, and it’s quite likely that Season 5 will have the same number. FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International both had crossovers in Season 4, and it’s probable that Season 5 will see the same.
