Fans will have to wait a little longer for Jared Leto Morbius because the Marvel of Sony releases which were initially planned at the end of January has been postponed now and are set to premiere on April 1, 2022.
This is one of the most recent Morbius reports before the picture was delayed from 2020 to 2021, and then again for a year. Morbius, which was supposed to be launched on January 28 in the United States, will now be released in April due to a surge of Omicron cases all over the globe.
According to insiders, the picture will now collide with Jimmy O. Yang and Tiffany Haddish’s comedy Easter Sunday, as well as Chris Pine’s thriller The Contractor, which is also set to release on April 1 this year.
Morbius is an upcoming American superhero film created by Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Marvel Comics which is based on the same-named Marvel Comics character. It will be the third installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. Daniel Espinosa directed the film, which was written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
Morbius transforms into a vampire after attempting to cure himself of a rare blood disease in the film. Sony began creating a film based on Morbius after revealing plans for a new shared world of Spider-Man films, beginning with Venom.
Jared Leto was presented as the anti-hero Michael Morbius in the new Morbius teaser published in 2021, who takes a desperate bet to deal with unique blood found that ties him to the evil inside him as he finds himself becoming a vampire. Daniel Espinosa directed Morbius, which starred Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal as Tyrese Gibson, and others.

It is obvious that Sony would prefer to wait to get the most out of Morbius and that releasing it during Omicron’s recent spike could result in a significant loss of business.
