One Piece Chapter 1099 Release Date: What Can We Expect?
The previous chapter of One Piece focused mostly on Kuma and Bonney. Ginny’s awful fate and Kuma’s unwavering love for rearing Bonney despite her illness were pivotal. Kuma is severely affected by Bonney’s condition, which was thought to be cured before her tenth birthday owing to a misunderstanding. Kuma and Bonney’s bond shines through their conversations, as Kuma attempts to hide Bonney from the truth of her condition.
However, as the chapter comes to a close, a new threat appears in the form of Bekori, adding to their already difficult situation. However, we still have some time to learn the fate of the new threats because the next chapter 1099 of One Piece is on hiatus this week. But don’t worry, the new release date has already been announced, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

One Piece Chapter 1098 Recap
One Piece Chapter 1098 begins by showing Kuma two years after Ginny’s kidnapping, exposing him to be far more merciless and savage. He even travels alone to numerous revolutionary battlefields, placing his life at risk and wearing himself thin. Following one such victory, a boat is shown sailing the seas with a weeping baby named Bonney on board, presumably with her mother.
Ginny then calls Kuma, Ivankov, and Dragon at Baltigo, revealing that she is dying and wishes to say farewell to them all. Kuma immediately recognizes her as she flies to the Sorbet Kingdom church they previously shared, using his Devil Fruit powers to get there. He misses Ginny, who tells him she has always and will always love him, and by the time he arrives, she has died.
Kuma commits himself to raising Bonney, Ginny’s daughter, with a Celestial Dragon after burying her. Bonney, on the other hand, eventually acquires the same Sapphire Scale sickness that Ginny died from, which is later determined to be incurable. Even if she avoids direct sunlight, the sickness will take her life by the age of ten. The tale concludes with King Bekori returning to the Sorbet Kingdom one year after Kuma learns of the news.
What to Expect (Speculative)
What is Oda cooking?
After Amber lead, now Sapphire scale. Do these diseases come from the Five Elders?
Interestingly enough, these gems are associated to each Elder.

Given Bekori’s appearance at the close of the previous issue, One Piece chapter 1099 appears prepared to reveal how Kuma got to be known as the “Tyrant,” which always looked out of place. Most likely, Kuma dethrones King Bekori but is compelled to continue inflicting suffering on the residents of the Sorbet Kingdom in order to save Bonney’s life through some form of treatment.
Speaking about Bonney, by the end of One Piece chapter 1099, she will most likely be on her way to a life of piracy, most likely after she loses Kuma to his Pacafista change. Bonney’s biological father is also expected to be revealed before the end of the issue, setting up a return to current events on Egghead Island.
