Pokémon GO Announces April 2023 Community Day
According to Niantic, Togetic will be the April 2023 Community Day Pokémon in Pokemon GO. At next month’s highly anticipated Pokemon GO event, trainers will compete for large rewards surrounded by adorable Pokemon. You can also fill up your Pokedex and capture new Pokémon on Community Day.
Users of Pokemon GO recently celebrated the March 2023 Community Day, similar to having two Pokemon in the game. The event was headlined by Slowpoke, both in its original Generation 1 form and its Galarian variant, which made its debut in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
A player with a high-level Surf on Community Day can capture a Water/Psychic type Pokemon, which can then evolve into Slowbro or Slowking. With the Slowpoke event now in the rearview mirror, Niantic is looking ahead to next month and offering gamers a sneak peek at what April’s Community Day will be like.
In 2023, Togetic will serve as the April Community Day Pokemon. Catching this Pokemon will allow players to evolve it into Togekiss, a powerful Fairy-type in Pokémon GO. The event will be held on April 15 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time).
Togetic in the wild, gleaming ones (if you’re lucky) will be easier to come by. Any player who evolves their Togetic during the event, or up to five hours later, will receive a Togekiss who is proficient in Charged Attack Aura Sphere.
Four-star Raid Battles, accessible only with Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes, will also become life in Pokemon GO on this date. The area around the Gym where the raid took place will have extra Togetic if you win.

As a bonus, all Togetic readers will be privy to a Community Day Special Research tale, and those who capture a Pokemon will receive double the candy customarily awarded. Togepi is one of the prettiest newborn Pokemon, and players who complete Timed Research activities about its evolution can earn up to five Sinnoh Stones.
Stickers with a Community Day theme and incentives like Ultra Balls for completing Field Research assignments associated with Community Day will also be available during Togetic’s Community Day. Players of Pokemon GO were excited to learn about Togetic’s Community Day, and they are already planning ways to make the most of it.
Togetic is a Pokemon that is difficult to capture in Pokemon GO due to its low introductory catch rate of 20%. For this reason, it’s not hard to see why gamers could be more enthusiastic about this competition. Now, Pokemon GO is available for both Android and iOS devices.
