The “House Bunny” actress is expecting her first child with partner Derek Richard Thomas, and she just did a picture shoot for a campaign launching her Mother’s Day collection with Naked Cashmere. She said:
“I’m so grateful that I’m so close with my family and I get to rely on them for support, It’s fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family especially because we’re such a huge group at this point.”
Willis shows off her developing baby bump in a revealing picture session for her knitwear business. In another, she wears a comfy blanket wrapped loosely around her waist over a sweatshirt.
In a third advertisement for the brand, Willis strips down to an open cardigan and knit trousers. According to a press release, the actress will work with Naked Cashmere to design new capsule collections for moms and their babies.
Her first collection will include updated classic cashmere designs for the contemporary woman and mother, emphasizing functional, chic garments that can be worn before and after giving birth.
Willis confirmed her relationship with Thomas, a musician, in November. The soon-to-be parents were honored with a star-studded baby shower last month.
Some of Willis’ visitors were Demi Moore, Emma Heming, Stephanie Shepherd, and “Dancing with the Stars” veteran Peta Murgatroyd. Thomas played the piano to the crowd’s delight instead of the expectant mother’s father, Bruce Willis, who could not make it due to his worsening dementia.
With her first child on the way with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, the 34-year-old actress has been considering whether or not her child would inherit her natural “goofiness” from Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
She says:
“We’re a family of weirdos and I love that so much. I really hope that that is engendered in this child. That’s my favorite thing, laughing with my family.”
The sister, Demi, Emma, and Rumer, threw a baby shower for the expectant mom on March 12 and celebrated Bruce’s 68th birthday on March 19.
