Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 Release Date
Star Wars The Bad Batch fans, rejoice! Season 2 has a release date! A Star Wars: The Clone Wars spinoff that follows the exploits of Clone Force 99 as they navigate the galaxy under Palpatine’s rule will premiere on Disney+ on September 28, 2022, according to the Disney+ home page.
To whet audiences’ appetites, The Bad Batch’s creative team — including showrunner Brad Rau and Jennifer Corbett — presented a new season trailer and announced that it would be returning this fall during the Star Wars Celebration in May.
Even more action and adventure are on tap for the Bad Batch, which includes the young female clone Omega as their young charge, according to Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 teaser trailer.
Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 Cast
Additionally, Season 2 brings back their slain brother Crosshair, who in Season 1 remained loyal to the Empire and fought alongside his siblings even after they all deserted. As the Kaminoan cloning facility fell into the sea around them towards the end of the season, Crosshair began to doubt his choice to leave the team, but he ultimately concluded he could not rejoin them.

There is a lot of evidence in the trailer that all of the characters will be confronted with the changing nature of the galaxy. Emperor Palpatine himself will have a part this season, returning to the forefront of the tale strangely for reasons known only to himself, as revealed in a brief moment (and, of course, the story team).
Michelle Ang plays Omega in The Bad Batch, while Dee Bradley Baker voices all the adult male clones. It appears that Rhea Pearlman will be returning as Cyd, the Trandoshan who lives just beyond the law and rescued the Bad Batch when they were in trouble in Season 1. Given that the Bad Batch is in quest of allies this season, it’s possible that characters such as Trace and Rafa Martez (Briget Kali and Elizabeth Rodriguez) or bounty hunter Fennec Shand(Ming-Na Wen) might make a cameo.
On September 28, 2022, Disney+ will begin streaming Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2.
Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 Plot
The major plot of The Bad Batch season 2 has yet to be established. In the new series of Star Wars episodes, numerous familiar faces will make appearances, including Emperor Palpatine and Commander Cody, both of whom were previously played by Temuera Morrison in 2005’s Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The introduction of a Wookiee Jedi in the trailer is another standout moment.
Star Wars The Bad Batch season 2 will not be set immediately following the events of the Season 1 finale, it has been confirmed. A big-time jump was hinted at by the Kiner Brothers in that episode, who revealed that Omega is older than he appears to be in this season. When it comes to the release of The Bad Batch, Disney has a number of other Star Wars projects to promote, including the final three episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as the release of the Rogue One spinoff Andor.
