As soon as a poster of Tom Hanks dressed as a conductor appeared, word of the new production quickly went viral. The conductor, the main character, and Santa Claus were among the characters the actor voiced in the animation.
The Christmas Express Movie Release Date
After a poster featuring a live-action Tom Hanks dressed as a train conductor went viral, rumors of a new prequel film to The Polar Express began to circulate online.

Spotted News also ran an article with a fictitious synopsis for the non-existent prequel, The Christmas Express, which served to further fuel the false rumor.
According to the source, Hanks will portray the main character, Woodford Newton, in the Polar Express prequel. The plot of the hoax prequel, according to the statement, “unfolds during a fateful accident” on a Christmas train ride, wherein he transforms into the seasonal spirit and the Polar Express’s conductor.
Hanks played a number of prominent roles in the original 2004 Warner Bros. hit, which told the story of a young child who, on Christmas Eve in the 1950s, finds himself on a magical train to the North Pole to visit Santa Claus.
Regretfully, no new Polar Express project is being developed by Warner Bros. as far as the public is aware. By all accounts, the poster making the rounds on the internet seems to be an artificial intelligence (AI) creation that has managed to fool a lot of people, which is what started the viral rumor.
