Who is Sofia Richie?
On August 24, 1998, American model, fashion designer, and social media celebrity Sofia Richie Grainge entered the world. Several major labels, including Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Adidas, have used her in advertising campaigns. She is the daughter of artist Lionel Richie and the younger sister of Nicole Richie and Miles Riche.
Sofia Richie was born in Los Angeles, California, to Lionel Richie and his second wife, Diane Alexander. Sofia Richie’s godfather is Michael Jackson. Growing up, her favorite memories include her travels to Neverland Ranch, where she made good friends with Paris Jackson.
Richie, like her father before him, has always loved music. She started taking piano lessons when she was seven and vocal lessons when she was five. Sometimes she’d get to be a part of her dad’s shows. She started working with voice coach Tim Carter when she was 14.
Her brother-in-law, Joel Madden, is the main vocalist of the band Good Charlotte, and they have worked together in the studio. She considered following in her renowned father’s footsteps as a singer but ultimately decided against it.
