How I Met Your Father Release Date
The network has announced the official release date. “How I Met Your Father” will premiere on Hulu on January 18th. The series will be unique to Hulu, so there will be a need for a subscription. As per the announcement, there will be a total of ten episodes in the first season, however, there are chances that the show will continue with another season as well.
Following the cancellation of the 2014 CBS pilot How I Met Your Dad, Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger were set to write a new version of the previous spin-pilot, off’s retitled.

After signing new contracts with 20th Century Fox Television that would see Aptaker and Berger encouraged to executive producers and co-showrunners on This Is Us alongside Dan Fogelman, it was announced recently that the concept would be put on hold. How I Met Your Father, with Carter Bays and Craig Thomas serving as executive producers on December 14, 2016.
Three days after the onset, Deadline reported that Alison Bennett would pen the spin-off, which would bear the same title as the original. Fox chairman Dana Walden told Deadline Hollywood on August 8, 2017, that 20th Television was trying a spin-off with literary critics for the third time.
How I Met Your Father Cast
The cast list is officially out. We will meet Hilary Duff who will be playing Sophie, as a lead. Additionally, there will be Chris Lowell as Jesse, Francia Raisa as Valentina, Tom Ainsley as Charlie, Tien Tran as Ellen, Suraj Sharma as Sid, and more.

How I Met Your Father Plot
The official synopsis goes like
“Sophie and her tight-knit group of friends are figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options”
Using the original series’ framework of flashback and narrative voiceovers, How I Met Your Father will center on Sophie, who is retelling her kid the story of how she met his father. The story is full of light entertainment, which will relax the audience.
Like its forerunner, the spinoff will be set in New York City and will “flashback” to 2021, when Sophie and her pals are working out their destinies, discovering who they are, and negotiating the business of dating in the city, including dating apps.
