Due to illness, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band canceled their shows for tonight (March 12) in Uncasville, Connecticut, and tomorrow (March 14) in Albany, New York.
Both tweets were directed at Springsteen’s official account on Twitter and contained the following:

The ensemble has had to reschedule its performances twice in the previous week. The cancellation of their March 9 performance at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, was also confirmed via Twitter.
There has been no official word regarding who is sick or what is wrong, but guitarist Steven Van Zandt responded to a worried fan on social media by saying, “no need to be fearful or afraid. Absolutely nothing serious has happened. The temporary setback is now behind us. Very shortly, we’ll have all of our usual resources available again.
After Patti Scialfa, Springsteen’s wife and band member, and Van Zandt, a violinist, were diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), the two were forced to miss a concert on February 10 in Dallas.
Bruce Springsteen and his band set out on their first tour in six years at the beginning of February. They have added 22 new tour dates throughout the continent, with performances planned at iconic locations like Wrigley Field in Chicago and Springsteen’s home field of MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
