Eras Tour Movie Release Date: Is AMC Theaters Set Stage for Taylor Swift Movie Premiere?
Even before it debuts, Taylor Swift’s impending Eras Tour movie is creating quite a stir. Thanks to Swift’s movie, Jason Blum, an Academy Award-nominated picture producer, shocked horror enthusiasts by revealing a fresh release date for The Exorcist: Believer. For the entire scoop, read the article in depth.
Eras Tour Movie Release Date
Blum took to X (formerly Twitter) to tweet, “Look what you made me do,” he tweeted. “The Exorcist: Believer moves to 10/6/23, #TaylorWins.” The Exorcist: Believer’s initial release date was set for October 13, the same day that Taylor Swift chose for the release of the concert film for her Eras Tour.
The sixth chapter of the Exorcist series, The Exorcist: Believer, will be a direct continuation of the 1973 original Exorcist movie. Leslie Odom Jr., Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, Ellen Burstyn, and other actors can be found in the cast. Blum’s choice to move the release date makes sense given the extreme demand for Eras Tour tickets, which caused fans to crash the AMC app.
Swift recently revealed that AMC cinemas across North America would screen a concert film of her wildly popular Eras Tour. She released an 80-second teaser with her followers and emphasized her enthusiasm for the film, calling the tour the most memorable event of her life.
Swift’s association with AMC comes after Travis Scott’s cooperation with the cinema chain for the screening of his Circus Maximus movie in promotion of his number-one Billboard 200 album Utopia.
