In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18, Nanami, who is seriously injured, is shown strolling through Shibuya station. He fantasizes about relocating to carefree Malaysia. Knowing he is lost, Nanami sees a vision of Yu Haibara, an old friend, showing up and pointing at Yuji. Yuji, who is already inconsolable over what’s happening in Shibuya, watches as Nanami is blasted to bits. The last words Nanami says are, “You’ve got it from here.”
Yuji fights Mahito out of frustration and rage. Mahito keeps trying to break Yuji as the fight goes on by reminding him of Junpei. Furthermore, Nobara battles the evil curse in addition to refusing to flee Shibuya.
