Michelle Thomas Cause of Death: What Happened to Michelle Thomas?
Actress Michelle Thomas, who was only 29 years old when she died of cancer, appeared on shows such as The Young & the Restless, The Cosby Show, and Family Matters.
Khadijah Bell, Thomas’s publicist, confirmed her death on December 22.

Thomas played Callie on the CBS soap opera The Young & the Restless, Justine, the girlfriend of Theo (Malcolm Jamal Warner), and Myra, the girlfriend of Steve Urkel (Jaleel White), on both The Cosby Show and Family Matters.
She appeared as a guest star on several other TV shows, including Roseanne, as well as in music videos, Los Angeles theatrical performances, and various films, including Hangin’ with the Homeboys.
She was just nominated for an NAACP Image Award as daytime drama’s best actress. “We are terribly shocked and deeply saddened by Michelle’s death, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family,” said William J. Bell, co-creator and senior executive producer of The Young & The Restless.
“Michelle was a great talent with a bright future ahead of her. She will be missed by all of us,” Bell said.

Though she spent his formative years in the Big Apple, Thomas was born in Boston. She got her education at the Broadway Dance Center and the Montclair School of the Arts.
Her parents, Phynjuar Thomas (an actress) and Dennis Thomas (a musician with the New Jersey funk band Kool & the Gang in the 1970s), both passed away before she was born.
