Riverdale Season 6 Plot
Riverdale is plagued with serial murderers, cult leaders, and cinematographers intent on wreaking havoc. Archie and the boys keep returning to the same haunts again and time again. Did Riverdale Season 5 end with a bang, but what happened? We’re still a long way off, though! The Riverdale Season 5 Finale will air later this year. Nevertheless, here is where the mid-season finale left us. The mid-season finale opened with Jughead and Tabitha sharing a passionate kiss. When Jughead realized his error, he admitted that he hadn’t completely moved on from his ex-girlfriend, Betty. However, the inexplicable trauma that Jughead has been through during Season 5 is far more crucial. He’s unable to comprehend or confront that pain, so he goes on a mushroom trip, where Betty appears and apologizes for betraying him with Archie. Furthermore, Charles proposed performing a game called “pincushion man,” The Cooper family is effectively involved with witchcraft.
However, the most significant aspect of the story is how it ends with Jughead missing and Tabitha finding out about it. Is there someone after Jughead now? Is it possible he left on his own accord? Riverdale has centered a lot on the high school years of the Core Four. A lot has happened since the memorable Season 5-time leap, but the show’s creator recently hinted at the series finale. When we first pitched Riverdale, we felt like we were at the end of a great narrative that we started in the pilot. That feeling comes through in the graduation episode. While pitching it to companies, several of the executives questioned whether or not it was “simply a high school show?” Aguirre-Sacasa made this known. “I remember thinking, ‘Gosh, I hope not, I hope it continues until early adulthood.'” You know, it’s interesting because I used to say that Riverdale should end when Archie has a child.
Is it safe to assume that Archie will become a father sometime in Season 6? We’ll have to wait and see. However, the graduation episode marks a significant turning point in the series’ narrative, and the next episode seems like a wrench in the works. Season six will very certainly pick up seven years after the time leap, with the characters now in their twenties and leading fulfilling lives. Everything else remains a mystery for the time being. If history is any guide, there will always be something new to discover.
